The simlple ideas are still the best...

Anyone read about the research being done into whether replacing all the stainless steel fittings in hospitals with copper will combat and kill the spread of mrsa?Apparently copper has unique bacteria killing properties and has been used in medicines and potions for centuries.Let's hope the results are positive and provide the answer.

No idea, but I have bought his green product for the kitchen too now & it really does work too.  So I'm happy, as I do think it is an important issue & we all should do our best to minimise our impact on the environment but I never thought I'd find a 'green' cleaner that actually works!

I saw it on the news about the copper taps.  Hope it is a solution too.Regarding 'green' cleaning products, I agree Vanessa.  My husband is the ultra green one in our family & he is forever coming home with green products which, quite frankly, are rubbish!  However, he brought home an Anthony Worral Thompson green bathroom cleaner which I reluctantly tried & it's brilliant!

Yes I saw that too - I couldn't agree more that the simpler the idea the more effective it is likely to be. Using all these "green" cleaning products may be all P.C. -but in a hospital good old fashioned bleach based products and disinfectant is what kills germs. I've tried quite a few of these "eco friendly" cleaners and by and large they are a waste of money and they cost more.
