Paragon Site wins Building Award

The Thames Valley university buildings known as the Paragon has unbelievably won a prestigous award from Building Magazine.  The prize was for Major Housing Project of the Year. Any comments ?

I like the glass building but the others are just boxes on top of boxes ! Also its too dense and completely overshadows St Johns school.

Hi PatriciaI reckon parts of the new develpment are very attractive..although perhaps a bit crowded. Have you walked about the base area?Here is a view from the 14 floor overlooking the M4 and GWR ..with St Paul's Church in the background!  No doubt a student's video on You Tube!!
