brentford woman sexually assaulting a young boy

After reading this story i felt absolutely sick as a mother of 3 boys myself i cannot justify what this woman has done.Was she not thinking of her own family let alone her so called friends,obviously not i feel she got a Very leniant sentence.

Someone did scrawl 'paedo' on the outside of a paediatrician's office but no such attack ever took place. The general point about mob attacks on alleged paedophiles may be correct however.

Self proclaimed vigilantes are a dangerous breed and that's a danger too, that innocent people get caught up in mob rule.

The non-disclosure of a the name of a victim of crime when they are a juvenile is the law. I don't see how this sensationalises the story.

the police are there to protect you. hes on the sex offenders register. when the law changed in the us to publically name these sick individuals, it drove more than a few underground - away from any form of monitoring or control. would you rather nobody knows where they are?

Its terrible and laws need to Change so parents can know if there is a sex offender in there street..that's why we should all back Sarah's Law.I don't know if anyone read in last weeks Chronicle regarding a guy who was convicted of grooming a 14yr old Girl for sex and Lived in sandalwood Rd Feltham..it was strange for me to read it and see the name of the Street as I know someone who lives in that street who for the past 2yrs as been on the sex Offender list for having sex with an under 16yr old and getting her Pregnant when he was 36/37 but i bet people in that street are not aware of him..its wrong we all should have a right to know so we can protect our Children.

I couldn't follow which family you meant, Colin, but I don't really want to know.  I was surprised in the confidentiality issue - the article reads as follows“Karen Wiltshire, a 41 year old mother of two from XXXX Brentford, has been jailed for nine months after she was found guilty of having sex with a XXXX boy.”“The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was registered blind after losing the sight of one eye in a car accident.”Odds are the visiting boy could be local and odds are he could be easily identified from this information.I suggest the term ‘confidential’ is being wielded to sensationalise the story for somebody else's gain.
