Forum Picture Posting Awards

Many of us have been really impressed by the rapid picture posting achievements of our new friend Joan Perry..currently located in Adelaide.You may recall a spate of such awards about two years ago..mainly on the Ealing and Chiswick Forums...following tuition classes and tests!!The time has arrived for another presentation ceremony!

Hi Ann. Your comments make my day too.  My partners in crime and many others have given me so much encouragement, how could I fail. In the mornings after breakfast, my first job is to 'check in' with the site.  I am grateful that I have been accepted into this great site by you all. Joan, Jim, Nigel and Hugh,What a gorgeous thread!  You have all made my day;  I have been 'off line' for a brief spell and only check in occasionally.Joan, sadly the enjoyment is slightly clouded by the fact that I have never yet conquered the 'image making' art, and - unlike you - am not entitled to letters after my name :-(  :-(  !

Joan, are you saying it didn't work for you?While I'll go for the back-rub and music on any excuse, the sound did come out this time at my end. But you do need to use Internet Explorer and not Mozilla or some such alternative (don't know why).

Evening all. (9.30pm)  I've calmed down now. I'm back in the real world.  Tomorrow Dean, myself and 2 grandchildren , Jordan and Tayla, are going to visit Michelle at Tailem Bend. On the way we cross the River Murray. We will stop and take a photo of our wonderful Murray. Oh Hugh I'll take a photo of the main train line across the Murray. Now you've got me going. Hopefully it's sunny. Also I'll stand at the edge of the rock face and take a photo of Adelaide. So stand by for photos tomorrow evening. Michelle has been given a task for Hugh, her house is 50 meters from the main 'grain carrying'  line track. She is going to take a photo for Hugh to show you how close, unfortunately it's a diesel train. Michelle can feel her house shudder when it passes. I'll see what I can do. It takes us usually about 1 hr 15 mins to get there but with the added stops it will take longer, but Jordan and Tayla will enjoy it too.Take care and await the follow up.Joan.   I can't believe it. Oh I didn't have a speech prepared. But here I go I accept this award from BrentfordTW8 and thank the many members who have made me laugh, scream, cry. Big hugs to Jim, Nigel and Hugh to name a few. Your patience of my new skills have been outstanding. I would also like to thank behind the scene daughters, Natalie and Michelle who have put up with the many phone calls for assistance. They have followed me through this journey of excitement. If only you knew how happy I feel at this time. I have never accepted such an award as this before. I will cherish it forever.We   stand together as one - .Gosh that was a long speech, I'll have to have a drink .  Truthfully ALL you people are just so wonderful to me.Joan Perry Dip.PP,MI.Hons.  ps they all better work, i'm working under pressure now.
