It's quite colourful in that Holiday Inn Hotel at Brentford Bridge.

The Holiday Inn has certainly been in the news during the past couple of weeks.Visits there by the local MP, together with an assortment of VIP's both local and national..has put the venue more firmly on the Borough map.Wandering around the Canal Bridge area today, I decided to pay my first visit and see what was inside...just a few snaps.A big wedding was about to take place!Have you been there?

I have a rather bad night shot of Holiday Inn at its most colourful. I'll see if I find it and upload it for you to see.Speaking of neon, have you seen the neon-sign on grounds coffee bar? It looks really bad and doesn't suit the building at all :(

The foyer was welcoming..as it should be!!----------------------------------------------------------The L shaped bar area and lounge was colourful too..but not as cosy as the Rose and Crown..or O'Reillys across the road perhaps.--------------------------------------------------------The ballroom was colourfully decrated for the wedding party!!(I took this picture from outside the Hotel building ..through the window!!)----------------------------------------------------(through the window again!)----------------------------------------------------I insisted that I was an outsider and wouldn't take a glass of champagne!-----------------------------------------------------Mind you the dancefloor is probably throbbing at this moment..and we wish them all well!-----------------------------------------------------The Holiday Inn has a curry night on Fridays...worth a try?
