Tesco is doing a new promotion which has left shoppers confused (well certainly what i witnessed today in Tesco Mogden Lane)It states in there publicity in the papers and on the Boards inside and outside the Shop spend £10 and you receive a voucher to get you into any theme park in the UK Free.Whilst i was at the till a gentleman put his shopping through which came to £83.62 but he was only given 1 Voucher so the gentleman stated "Ive spent £80 so why am i not getting 8 vouchers" to the checkout woman's reply was "Sorry sir its 1 voucher per customer" the gentleman asked to see the Manager and the manage came and explained it was only 1 voucher per customer. The Gentleman stated i spent over £80 for the reason to get 8 Vouchers to take the whole family to Legoland in the summer and if i knew this i wouldn't of spent that kind of money.I stated to the manager that the ads should read "Spend £10 or more and receive a voucher"The manager then told the Checkout woman to void the gentleman's shopping and told her to put it threw bit by bit in sums of £10 so he could get the 8 vouchers.i thought it was a waste of time when he had put all his shopping threw why not give him the 8 vouchers..1 checkout lady said that the gentleman wasn't the first to complain.Anyone else experienced this problem?

I hate people like that... It's the kind of people you don't want to queue behind, certainly doesn't deserve to be called a gentleman :)

It certainly wasn't his fault..why didn't the manager just let the first sale go threw and give him the 8 vouchers instead of waisting all that time for him and other customers.

Please re read the offer: "Spend £10 or more and receive a voucher"It does not say that for every £10 you spend you get a voucher. It says spend £10 or more to recieve a voucher. Whether this is morally correct or not. It is written in plain black and white.

Simon, I have picked up some vouchers - would you like them?As Claire says the offer is 1 voucher if you spend over £10.I asked the cashier (I know the girls in Tesco pretty well) if I could do subtotals and divide the bill into individual bills of around £10 but she divided the whole bill by 10 and gave me the right number. Many customers don't want them and if you ask the cashiers with a smile many will give you an extra one or two.If Simon doesn't want them - does anyone else?

Simon - I have just been checking out the Tesco 'deal' catalogue and if you use their club card vouchers for the total of £23.75 (in their vouchers) you can have a yearly pass to The Tussauds group which is a yearly season ticket to: Alton Towers Chessington, Thorpe Park, Madame Tussauds and Warwick castle.
Hi SarahThank you for the offer but ive got enough now so please feel free to give them to someone else who wants themThanks again..Have a Good Wk End

No it does not..in The SUN today it states only "spend £10 and receive a voucher"
.... but it doesn't say - spend £20 and receive 2 ... ;-)(sorry, I couldn't resist)
I would give up if I were you. He isn't going to get it, is he?

Simon, Simon, try to understand. "Spend £10 and get a voucher" is not the same thing as "spend £80 and get eight vouchers"!Or am I "waisting" my time going "threw" this with you?
Wasting your time i am afraid!!! LOL
