BBC Filming in Brook Lane North Today

So that terrace of cottages alongside the House..have been converted to a Police Station for the day!!--------------------------------------------------------The 1949 Police Van lurks in the background...--------------------------------------------------------I'm off!  Seen any filming lately?

As I trudged exhausted into Boston Manor Park today on my new bicycle (first bike rides for 50 years!), it was excellent having an excuse to stop to see what was going on.A year 1950 taxi was parked outside the House..waiting for the film crews and startlets to arrive...for a film apparently to do with WOLFENDEN or some spelling like that.The taxi owner from Dartford in Kent..apparently has a fleet of old taxis going back to 1910..and film producers hire from him!!--------------------------------------------------------No sunshine..but the House and Gardens looked stunning!--------------------------------------------------------Look what's there..parked at the side of the House!!A 1949 Police Van with benches inside!!--------------------------------------------------------more to follow!

Thanks for the tip-off Fran... were you asked to take part?Wonder which part of the road they used..and hopefully they were able to stay away from the chicken factory!! (recent fire and lingering odours etc etc)There seems to be a lot of filming going on in the area..TW8 obviously desirable!Today I bumped into a group who were preparing to film in Boston Manor Park.Their film was to be about "Wolfendon".  Check that out!!
