Thank you Cllr Felicity Barwood..outgoing Mayor
At this evening's Borough Council meeting at the Civic Centre (7.30pm)the first item on the Agenda is the election of a new Mayor and Deputy Mayor for the coming year.It will be the moment that Councillor Felicity Barwood will be handing over her Chain of Office..after a memorable year in which she has served the residents of the London Borough of Hounslow with dignity and much vigour.I know that many people have been impressed by her performance, her interest in social services affairs, the carers and those giving an input to help those in need. Others will be better informed of all the events she has attended and all the visits made. Personally, as a Chiswickian, I have felt very proud of her and she has certainly enhanced Civic Pride in many quarters.She deserves much applause.
