Jim Lawes :Youtube trolleybuses

Jim,I may already have said thanks for those brilliant trolleybus journeys.  What memories!  Like Joan and the Coley Thermometers, the trolleybus thread brought tears to my eyes...the music made it even more poignant!Thanks again.

When thinking of the old trolleybuses that quietly journeyed through our localities, I always think of David Bradley's fabulous website http://www.trolleybus.net/One shudders to think how many hours he spent creating it all..over lots of years. David appeared on the Ealing Forum many times a year or so ago..when the tram was being discussed.http://www.trolleybus.net/If you go down the left hand side index..and click on "667"you will be whisked to a collection of pictures..perhaps reminding all us middle-aged folk of life in the 50's!

Ann I think it's the music too.  It reminds me of the BBC series "On the Buses".  My Aunty of 89 yrs laughed and cried watching it. Jim has brought many a tear to our eyes.  Happiness tears though.

Thanks Ann about that trolleybus video.In fact I first discovered it on the new TW3 website..where the moderator Paul had posted the video in a semi hidden place.
