Steam train passing this weekend

This Sunday we saw a steam train passing on the rail bridge behind The Island on Brentford Lock.We have never seen such before.Anyone know what the occasion was?Loads of white steam and TUF TUF. Unfortunately it was gone before I managed to locate my camera.

Have a trip on the Orient Express with YouTube ..if you have 3 minutes to spare.  Test your German language too!The music is pleasant too...but not quite up the "trolleybuses" video!

I have seen the Orient Express being pulled by a steam engine on the Hounslow Loop line.

There are often steam trains going through Twickenham Staion quite early in the morning as I believe they are heading to Clapham Junction from their depot to "pull" the new Orient express.

That would have been a knock-out sight....I wonder who you could ask?Is there a "Thomas the Tank" fat contoller in our area? ;0)
