Forum Topic

A happy and friendly time was had by neighbours and visitors today in this North Brentford street..and whilst the crowds weren't large at all..a special community atmosphere was created with every opportunity to mix and have conversation across front garden walls.  No wonder houses in Enfield Road sell like hot cakes! And no doubt future events will take place. You ought to go next time ..if you missed today.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I was expecting to be charged a fiver for some items..and yet the price was only £1! thus one could afford extra tea, sandwiches and cakes across the road!------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------It was good to see Councillor Matt Hamer there..being introduced to residents..taking questions and enquiries...engaging in many conversations and joining in the fun.  It was a rich experience to mix with locals in such a way..and it's an activity that should be encouraged in other areas...perhaps! --------------------------------------------------------It's always pleasant to meet people for the first time who are aware of life on the Forum. Many say they like the pictures even!!  But most important of all is meeting the many people who have not seen the TW8 website before..and thus it's an opportunity to explain to them how to access the Forum and perhaps join in.  "Enfield Road"... this thread could contain your  first posting!!More pictures to follow.
