Friday Fireworks over Syon Park!

Anyone seen those amazing fireworks over Syon Park last Friday?  Must have cost a fortune.  Anyone know if it was a corporate do or what?

was definately syon. saw most of it from the boat. heard all of it.would NOT have wanted to be in any of the four planes that flew thru the display..

Are people sure it was Syon Park? I thought it might have been coming from Kew.

At present Syon Park hasn't got an Estate Manager to complain too. Richard Pailthorpe left a couple of months ago.His work load has been spilt amongst existing staff. The email address is info@syonpark.co.uk

I agree (and so does my cat..) - I live near the park and the noise was totally unacceptable, even if it was just for 10 minutes.It's bad enough in the run-up to Christmas, when there are drunken corporate events held every night; the music continues way beyond 1am.If you find out who to complain to, I'll join you.

I was out with some garbage when the first rocket went. I watched the whole thing from outside Brentford Lock, it was quite an amazing view! We were probably around 30 people there and all were asking what the occasion was :)Bit scary seeing the planes go so close, but overall it was great.Yeah, a bit load perhaps, but it's not like this happens every night :)

I wouldn't call them "amazing", I would them idiotic and illegal. The noise was earsplitting.I live on Brentford Dock, and couldn't believe the awful noise at 10.45 in the evening. Flat windows and doors were rattling and my cat was scared out of his mind. It sounded like bombs were going off on the Dock, and I pity the flats right by the Park. I have never heard fireworks this loud, and the organizers must have realised their mistake as soon as they let the first ones off.Thanks Syon Park for ten minutes of noise pollution! You really care about your neighbours. So much for carbon footprints and environmental protection.Who can I complain to?
