SmallBerryGreen Primary School Summer Fete

My Son's school will be holding there Summer Fete on Friday 6th July from 315 till 5pm in the Main hall of the School situated in Turnpike Way or Opp West Middx HospitalLots of Stalls inc Tombola, Face Painting, Refreshments, lots of Children Games, Teddy Tombola, Bric and Brac and there will be a Drinks Raffle (tickets purchased on the day and a ordinary Raffle (which I've tickets if anyone wants any at 20p each) All Proceeds go to the SchoolALL WELCOMEPlease Come along and support the School.ThanksSimon

Hi Cllr DakersThank you for coming it was a GREAT turn out.I was there from 11am setting it all up and just got in now i was on the Teddy Tombola there was about 70 teddies and they all went.I will let everyone know how much the school raised next week but it was a fantastic afternoon and i want to thank everyone for Coming inc You Cllr Dakers.

Just been down for a quick visit ...and there is still 35 minutes left to go!A whole variety of different things to spend your 10 and 20pence pieces on.  I now have a mountain of cakes to eat my way through and put the calories back on that I worked off cycling against the wind to get there.Well done to Smallberry Green PTA!Andrew

Hi PaulThe Committee did it on a Saturday before and it was no good as Parents stated that they didn't want to go back to the school on a weekend.Also we would have to pay the caretaker overtime so holding it Friday after School will get the Parents in mate.I still have raffle tickets if anyone is interested?

Good luck with this event Simon but would it not have been a better idea to stage this perhaps on a Saturday morning when more people would be able to attend, instead of a Friday afternoon when the majority of potential patrons are at work?
