Hounslow Council
Yesterday morning at around 9.15 I attempted to telephone a number supplied to me by a council employee and this number is evidently that of the site manager of Cedar Court. This number does nothing but ring. Never answered and no answermachine message. I then called Hounslow Homes at about 9.30. I just want to know what is the procedure (if any) for placing a skip in the car park of Cedar Court. I was told someone would get back to me that day. By 2.30 I had not heard so I called again. The person who answered that call immediately hung up. I called again and spoke to someone who said that a note had been made and I would hear within 24 hours. I have just called again and been told that it is now a 48 hour call back. Nice tactics for keeping the public at bay!I wrote to the housing department in May 2006 and they answered with a stock letter that bore no relation to the issues raised in my letter to them, in December! I wrote to them again in April this year, I am still waiting for a reply. We employ these drongos - what on earth do they do all day. They don't return calls and they don't answer letters, they are incapable of discussing anything on the telephone it is like talking to a robot. No matter what you want or what you say all you get is "that's all I can do is take a message and someone will get back to you". Brilliant! and these people want hefty wage increases year in year out for what? How much red tape can there be for placing a skip in a car park? If it has anything to do with a council I suppose that is a stupid question in the first place but honestly its not a trick question are there rules or are there not? Why is this estate manager not contactable and where does the caretaker of Cedar Court live? I now know his name but I dont know him and wouldn't know him if he jumped up and bit me. Does anyone out there know the answer to any of my questions?
