Eating Out in/around Brentford

Hi there,We have just moved to the area and are looking for somewhere nice to take the parents for a meal this Saturday night. We aren't exactly flush with money, any ideas where would be the best place to take them?Thanks for your help!Laura

Prezzo on the new Brentford Dock development is very good if you like pasta/pizza.  Nice surroundings and good food.

The Lord Nelson (Enfield Road) used to serve an excellent Sunday roast at around £7 for organic meats and lovely home-cooked veg. I haven't been in a while, but it has had good recent reviews on beerintheevening.com...

You won't find much better than Yellow Express for buffet style but I highly recommend the Harvester in Boston Manor Road for a proper three course meal at a reasonable price and beer at proper prices.

Laura .... steer well clear of the Italian in Ferry Quays. The Indian and Caribbean restaurants and qutie good however.

hi there is a relly nice south african rest in putney called chakalaka and it has a varied menu and price range you can get the train there in ten minutes...

Try Greedies in South St Isleworth (bistro style food in informal surroundings) they also run G2 in The Coach & Horses pub, London Rd near Busch Corner.  Or for brilliant Chinese (MSG free) help yourself buffet at a great price, try Yellow Xpress, London Rd Isleworth.  I've always had excellent meals at both these places & they don't break the bank.
