Grumpy old woman rant!

I have just seen on the B.B.C. London News that the little oik who was stuffed in a litter bin by a policeman has been awarded 'an undisclosed sum' in compensation. Shame they don't stuff a few more little scrotes in bins. Just typical of what goes on in this country - it really beggars belief.

Helen I try not to communicate with Andrew but no matter which thread I join or what the subject matter the sad old bully has to launch his anti Cannabis tirade at me. To be honest I am sick to the back teeth of this old fascist and have requested he stop his nonsense on several occasions but despite him promising (at least three times) not to post any more replies he just keeps on and on and on.

I suggest you should do the same, you may become a sane rational human being, but I doubt it."So! your solution is stop BETA-BLOCKERS and substitute it with CANNABIS....very clever, and you call yourself rational and stable? I said on a previous thread, that I would not answer your silly and PC comments, but just to bring this to a close, I will give £10 to any charity of your choice, if you or anyone else who thinks the same, can post on here anything that substantiates any of your accusations......examples please to show that you are indeed a man! Now we have children murdering each other, gun crime, people afraid to go into certain areas, drugs, political correctness, children have no respect for their parents, teachers, or the police, old people attacke in the street and in their homes, 99% of these crimes are IMO drug related! You carry on with your cannabis crusade, which is damaging to those who use it, and will continue to do so, in spite of the evidence produced of it's dangers. Vanessa I don't know who the Nigerian lad is but I believe the Italian man was only six months old when he came to this country and while he may be an 'immigrant' by birth he was raised here and as such is a product of our society. Unless you of course believe he was a product of nature not nurture, not a very scientific conclusion, in fact it could be considered racist. If we were to take your comment to its logical end then children adopted at six months old should be brought back to their birth mother if the child is not all that the adopted parents wish them to be or if their own treatment of that child has made them the person they have become. Are you saying that these adopted parents should be able to say “well it was your child you should take him/her back”, because that is what you are saying to the Italian people? Why would they want this 'murdering scum bag' and product of British upbringing! Why on earth would they want him? To get back to the original subject of this rant - the Home Office who appears to be staffed by tiny-minded jobsworths are determined to send that lovely young Nigerian lad back, saying that just being as asset to this country isn't enough. Needless to say the newspapers are making the comparison in treatment, as as been done here, with the little murdering scumbag who can't be deported to Italy because of his 'human rights'. That seems to me that human rights aren't universal, I think this is absolutely outrageous and I really, really hope the public kick up one hell of a stink about this until someone sees sense. This rant is over! Well - until the next potty happening anyway.

Andrew, You still seem to be missing the point of my question on the W4 site (which could/should have been responded to on that site and thread)The person I referred to as a nob end had stated on the contaminated cannabis thread that if young children ended up with ground glass in their lungs due to smoking this contaminated cannabis then they deserved it as they should not have been smoking cannabis, as its illegal.You have on several occasions quoted my response (incorrectly as nob head) as a means to discredit me and my views. This little oik was very lucky he didn't end up in court! As regards "checks and balances" this officer was suspended from duty, while this little ble**er received £4,000, that's the way this country will descend further into anarchy. One of the contributors on W4 who's views you apparently subscribe to say's " I would rather live in today's tolerant society, than in the 50's that you keep on harping about", never mind the fact that murders during this time made the front page, unlike today where it is a daily occurrence. Today it is reported that some other little bas***ds threw an 83 year old war veteran into a canal breaking both his legs, and perhaps crippling him for the rest of his life.......their ages? possibly 13 or 14, don't talk to me about child abuse. If I was younger I would sod off from this country tomorrow.

Andrew please read my remark on the W4 site again, as you have completely misunderstood what has been said. A perfect example of instant justice and pre conceived prejudice perhaps?I admit as a youth I was no angel. This may have something to do with the way my family were treated by some officers in the late 60's and 70's when it was not good to be the youngest of a family of 11 from a Irish catholic background, in fact we were treated like s**t.I pointed out I had not read the story at the beginning of my post and the point I was making is that not all police officers are nice people, Otherwise so many innocent Irishmen would not of been jailed incorrectly while the guilty remained free. That is what happens when officers take the law into their own hands. Perhaps you would prefer officers such as PC Robert Roberts back on the streets of the Borough He was jailed a couple of years ago for attacking a member of the public and then assaulting a fellow officer because he had not helped in the assault. What you seem to advocate is to allow people like that to abuse children with no check or balance.I spent time in a school run by nuns; my teacher was nasty and vicious, devoid of the love for her follow humanity that the church preached.I find it interesting to read that being humiliated made Phil Andrews the man he is to day. "Such violence Paul",I was taught by nuns for most of my school days, and there was probably not a day that went by, that I didn't receieve a whack from one of them, indeed on one occasion, my father gave me another clump for my troubles for misbehaving in the class.......but I suspect, that like me, it did make you a decent law abiding and respectful citizen, that hopefully we are today.

I along with many others from the silent majority, am pleased that we have the officers we have. Sometime soon, the "luvvies" will have to wake up, and change their views as to how they want this once great to go! Gordo needs to be saying "deterrent, deterrent, deterrent sentences, life to mean at least 25 years minimum, 10 years minimum for carrying any weapon, take the handcuffs off the police and start putting them back on these toerags, who are blighting our lives....Rant ends!!!

We had a teacher who when caning us use to wipe chalk on the cane so he could aim for the same spot! He also had a habit of dragging us round the school holding our ears.

VanessaWhen I was at Worple Road Primary School (as was) my teacher used to make me stand in the waste paper basket in front of the class as a punishment whenever I had committed a misdemeanour of a certain magnitude.It made me what I am today. ;o)

I don't think anyone was for one minute - and certainly I wasn't, condoning 'police brutality'. As one very respected journalist pointed out in his column, had the police officer arrested this little pillock it would have entailed hours of paperwork, no doubt a referral to an entirely useless local Social Services Dept. who would have set him on his merry way without even one word of admonishment. Which would have been at considerable cost to the public purse. The very fact that this sneering little sod and his equally stupid father have been able to pull this off is appalling, to speak of 'brutality' just muddies the waters and fails to grasp the fact that once again a 'yoof' has been able to witter on about his rights without anyone trying to instill in him some sense of responsibility so that he might just understand the litter bin option was a lesson he should learn something from. How can the police be expected to deal with this culture with one hand tied behind their back? I am sure for most of us with a few miles on the clock had this happened to any of us as youngsters - our parents would have given us a clip round the ear to go with it, not bleated about compensation.

Now you and others may find that amusing, unless of course YOU typically happen to be the victim. The police officer who had to confront him was faced with the usual abuse, the officer then jokingly told him that "he would put him in a nearby bin if he didn't behave himself". He then challenged him to do so, which he did, and lasted less than a minute, In this officers place, I would have put the little sod in head first, not feet first and left him there. Do you luvvies not realise that by throwing missiles at moving cars, could have blinded the driver and caused a smash, and almost certainly killed or injured someone.I would have fined him, through his equally irresponsible father £4,000 pounds. "That may be your idea of a better Britain but it sure as hell is not"!What exactly is your idea of a "better Britain", murders every day, fathers kicked to death for attempting to protect their property,another man stoned to death while playing cricket with his son, an 11 uear old child shot dead drugs escalating out of control, old peopl afraid to leave their homes....shall I go on? What neither Vanessa nor any of the other posters have mentioned is what said youth did, or was alleged to have done, to warrant being placed in a bin.Probably I'm at fault here for having missed the news story concerned, but I presume that some misdemeanour was committed and that nobody is advocating placing children in litter bins on sight.

I do not know the full details of the assault but if an officer can not control himself he has no place in uniform and no place on our streets.Perhaps if you found yourselves the victim in such a situation you would have a slightly different view on police brutality. Punishment is for the courts not for those so self possessed that they feel entitled to play Judge , Jury and executioner.All that is achieved with that attitude is further resentment, fear and suspicion of the police, my own unhappy experience was when I was 15, I am now nearly 48 and I still hate and despise the individuals responsible and I am still nervous and suspicious when dealing with the police. That may be your idea of a better Britain but it sure as hell is not mine

I think we all agree on that - but what message does this give out? - and the powers that be talk about respect, the poor Police have to work with one hand tied behind their backs these days. How can they be expected to do their job while everything seems to be balanced towards the criminal and never the victim. I have yet to hear anyone express the view that this £4k was in any way justified, that little oik must be laughing all the way to the bank, his father should have given him another clip round the ear for good measure, and not encouraged this farce.
