Apologies for that error Jean!It seems that pictures of "Ian Gilmour", "Sir Ian Gilmore" or in later years Lord Gilmore are few and far between...but I did find a pleasant one on a Norfolk news website (new.edp24.co.uk)..an area which he had represented in Parliament.In his appearances on television in years gone by, I recall that he had a charming and engaging voice. Being a former Defence Secretary, he had a top job.There are many references to him in cyberspace..and it was interesting noting his "Lordship's" possible connection with a castle outside Edinburgh.I last saw him locally when he came out of his house last year to see the sight of those giant "Guinness tanks" being loaded on barges at the Isleworth waterside. He must have wondered what was going on!!
