Question for Cllr Fisher

Its a bit funny that you have never met ex Cllr Sarjit Gill since all the work the ICG did with the then 2 Cllrs the other being ex Cllr kad who where rejected by the Labour party as candidates, its also funny that the ICG have handed other petitions from the likly lads in to the council, now why would the ICG be handing in a petition in this weeks Chronic from the very people who the Ombudsmen is supossely a bit miffed with...Oh and lets not forget these are the same 2 that have been reported by the National Times newspaper as having joined the Local Tory Party....May be you would like to enlighten us all

I sure you are not that simple..just try to be honest for once..the intrests you have in Cranford is to use Parmod Kad to get the vote you seem to think he has however your problem is how the do cover up the fact he is in the Tories and was responcible for the Omsbudmans finding..you have either got to decide that the omsbudsman was lied to in order to clear your new found friends or carry on pretending somehow in someway that this is not the case..Either way what has been done would possibley come under the old legal word Culumany.......

Well well bit obvious is it not, who is the person in Cranford who both Tories and ICG have been helping in Cranford, who is the person in Cranford who is in the Times as joining the tory party..Who is the person who wanted to go against the the officers recommendation and was the one taht has triggered all this in the First place..Yes you have guessed it Parmod Kad, who is also the one who seems like the rest of you to think they can pretend to fool the public as the minutes for that public meeting does not record who voted what......However your mistake is believing this to be true. So while you try and white wash the truth, the truth will come out in the end

Nahh so I cant be the spokesperson unless that was a pic taken over must be 2 years a go at a trade union event, I cant really see the pic at the moment as the sun is in my eyes where I am sat.I know you like labels for people but to be honest, I dont speak for the local Labour Party yes I am member but I would take that from your posting that you would be a memeber of the Tory/Icg club.Yes I am an ex cllr but that again is something I did 2 years ago, I am jsut ordinary Joe public now nothing special nothing that I lord over people just an average Joe Public, I go to the pub and see my friends I evan see other ex cllrs. Its funny how you look for conspiracy all the time trying to allude to others that somehow there is labour master plan.As I have staed many times I am very busy person yes I am still involved in Community projects around music, trying to keep a community hall open needing just basic things like carpet, which I must say I found a disgrace last week when I went to the Civic and found all the carpet tiles from the new civic rooms in the skip nearly brand new tiles they would of been perfect if our community group could of had them...I may do post on this issue. I like to keep an intrest in Hounslow as I think its a wonderfull Town, I think the ward I was a cllr in is fantastic I thank the people of Bedfont for giving me a chance to be a Cllr and in the 8 years I was Cllr I managed to get the highest community spend in the area but taht was not without hardwork as I like any other Cllr had to convince others that the money would be well spent if it was in my ward, evan Cllr Bowen would confirm that I would argue for Bedfont at the first chance I had in a meeting and the stand up rows I had to get Bedfont on the agenda. In truth it was better to give into us than let me have a go at  the committee and in truth all Cllrs will have there own way of doing things to achieve ends.Do I miss being on the council not really you get more out of working as a community worker than a Cllr, the only thing I miss is winding up Cllr Bowen and having him jump up down in a fit of rage does are the things I miss and waitting for Cllr Oulds to say something so I could shout he is shooting off again good old bang bang Bob, but I dont have to worry because this site gives me that and much much more....So yes I have a complete life after the council no I do not speak for others as they have thier own voice and my views are not the same as the next man thats why we have a democratic party system..

SteveI was going to ask David what the connection was between the New Labour Party and "red commies" (for the record I don't think I've used the word "commie" since I discovered long trousers - I'd be fascinated if Dave could direct me to the posting in which I'm alleged to have said this).New Labour has adopted everything that is wrong about conservatism and rejected everything that is good about it, and has ditched its core principles in the process.  Anybody with socialist aspirations who still bats for the Labour Party is in a serious state of denial.

DaveLet me try this one last time to get this through to you, before I give it up as a bad job.Nobody is saying that The Times did not carry this story.  I'm not even saying that David Cameron didn't say that he welcomed the "news" that these two gentlemen had joined the Conservative Party.What I'm saying is that David Cameron was wrong.  They hadn't.Just because something appears in a newspaper doesn't make it a fact. As for your ramble about "REDs under the beds", I'm afraid I just haven't the foggiest what you are rattling on about.  Is it a joke, and if so could you please kindly explain it for me?  Thanks.

Labour councillors who have, according to you, joined the local Conservative party. I have not seen there membership application. The only way they can become members of the Hounslow Brentford & Isleworth Conservative Association, is if I approve them!!!!

AnnI seem to be more alive at midnight than at midday!  Then there's no traffic noise at this time, nor fireworks tonight at 2am, or underground train movements on the Piccadilly Line till 4.50am..and there's calm and peacefulness all around.  Must hurry though... the first airliner is due over in 2 hours at 4.30am.  There's a convoy heading this way!

Since when has asking a question to which you have answered warrents an apolgy.....You clearly state you know all the people and have met them a couple of times.....Now we have Phill trying to make a big gulf between ex Cllr Kad and what is publsihed in the papers and in the process trying to say I am liar...for pointing out the facts..."If you are going to tell a lie" Phils wordsAll I would like to see is a bit of honesty Cllr John Connoly for what ever reason and I believe he is doing this complaint on the grounds of true justice in a democartic system and is forwarding a complaint and as he has said in his own area committee not his exact words that on the night of the resolution, the rule book was thrown out of the window, it now transpires that facts given to the omsbudman where in-correct...I like many others will wait till all the facts are out in the public domain before reaching a decision.

Why where none of the committee interviewd which is standard practice for the ombudsman..nor can we escape the fact that a number of people voted for enforcement...and that the fact still remains of Kad writting such wonderfull letters to the Local Times newspaper about his new boss the Local Tory party was this a case of the press getting it wrong lets not forget Meadowbank...

Unlike the ombudsman who was given another set of facts..but if anyone had done the wrong thing it would of been correct to refer those people to the standards board for england which clearly this admistration on a number of requests to do so has not done so.....It is not for me to pre-judge the enquries that are now to take place but as a Tax paying resident there are questions that have to be asked and anwered as to the motives of the ICG/Tory group in not having a full investigation into now why the ombudsman was misslead in the facts that he was given in order for him to reach his conclusion.

As far as I am aware they supported the Conservative candidate at the Southall by-election.  That does not mean that they joined the party.That a claim is made in a press release does not automatically make it factually accurate.  Mistakes can be made.  The information I have is from Messrs. Kad and Gill in person.  In my opinion these are the two people most likely to be in full possession of the facts.

It was the Tories who claimed they had defected from Labour in a campaign press release issued on or around 13th July. They had, of course, been expelled from Labour when they stood as Independent Alliance candidates the previous year. I am not aware of either of them refuting the publicity at the time.

JohnThank you for your response.Neither Permod Kad nor Sarbjit Gill have joined the Conservative Party.  As I understand it neither of them has ever claimed to have, and if this is indeed the case then they can hardly be held responsible for inaccurate reports in newspapers or for David Cameron's remarks.If I was held to be responsible for the contents of every press article which has been written about me then I would not be at liberty, far less would I be sitting on the borough's Executive.

Phil, I am not going to respond to your silly suggestions as to my motive for moving this resolution, nor do I intend to re-enter the debate after this posting. However, some facts to ponder:-1) Sarbjit Gill, as a Labour Councillor, was present at the meeting of the Heston and Cranford Committee where the decision was taken not to take enforcement action against officer advice on an unauthorised development in St Paul's Close.2) This means that if he had continued to be a Labour Councillor for Cranford today he would be suspended from taking enforcement decisions.3) 4 people who were NOT at the meeting have been suspended.4) Less than 2 weeks before the Tory/ICG resolution to suspend the Area Committee's powers was carried Sarbjit and Parmod Kad (who was also at the meeting in question) were welcomed by David Cameron as defectors to the Tory Party on the steps of Ealing Town Hall. Parmod, who lives in Cranford, was referred to in the Tory press release as a long term resident of Southall. So much for honesty!5) This is why I argue the decision was political and not based on principles or standards. If the Tories were interested in standards they would have denounced Cameron for allowing 2 people who were involved in a decision condemned as improper to associate with their party. I said this at the July meeting yet they still are prepared to work with people whose actions would have been condemned if they were still members of the Labour Party.

Okay Dave, it will be clear to other users that you are neither able to substantiate your allegation that Councillor Fisher claimed never to have met Sarbjit Gill, nor are you man enough to withdraw it despite it having been proved to be false.  So let's move on.I am astounded that after having been a councillor for as long as you had you still lack very basic knowledge as to how complaints to the Local Government Ombudsman are managed.  The ICG was never approached by the LGO and would never have been in a position to "miss-repesent" facts even if it had wished to do so.  Neither, one must presume, would the Conservatives.  The information provided to them would have been any raw data which they will have requested from officers in order to reach their conclusion.Unlike your good self, Councillor Connelly is more than capable of understanding this and I believe the case he makes to be disingenuous.  The large number of deferrals made by the Heston & Cranford Area Committee will have come back to the committee and then translated into approvals or refusals which also reflect in the figures.  The deferral issue is in fact a complete red herring.My view is that Councillor Connelly's objectives in leading on this were (a) to upstage the Labour Group (not difficult) and at the same time to make a case for his readmission into a party which is clearly crying out for the services of somebody of his guile and intelligence, and (b) to impress upon local minority communities that he is their champion.Considering that the 200-strong petition (not 100) was organised and presented to Councillor Fisher by Asian residents who only a year or so ago offered themselves for election as candidates for his Hounslow Independent Alliance, he doesn't appear to be making a very good fist of the latter.

Someone who is not involved in the issue....but the fact is you are involved and not just in some minor way...you seem to gloss over facts that you dont want people know...secondly if facts have been miss-repesented to the ombudsman why where these facts miss-repesented to the omsbudman...what reason would the ICG and Tory party gain form such miss-repersentation...I am sure we will gst the answers to these questions that Cllr Connolly is asking..

Do you see what I mean about digging yourself a hole David?  If you are going to tell a lie, tell one which cannot so easily be disproved.The article is reproduced below (I hope!).  As anybody can see, there is nothing in the article stating that Councillor Fisher does not know or has never met Mr. Gill.Users of this forum will note that not one of Mr. Hughes' New Labour colleagues, past or present, has made any attempt either to correct or to distance themselves from his dishonesty.It is this mentality, and this contempt for the truth as well as for others, which cost them control of the council for the first time in 35 years in May 2006.

Personally I don't understand what all this codswallop is about.I always thought that a person was democratically elected because it represented the views of the local populace and could put across those views succintly.It wasn't a case of oneupmanship.  Or is there another agenda here?  Wasn't that Gill person formally on some planning committee who alledgely granted planning permission for some disgusting monstrosities in return for a nice shiny pocket lining?Or have I just gone and jumped to conclusions?

Would you care to give me a clue when?Any thoughts on the Keens expenses or 100% non-attendance at the Police Consultative Group would also be most welcome if you get a spare moment?
