DavidI think you shared it on another thread, but never mind - what can I say? You've caught me out David. You have made an earth-shattering discovery, viz. that when I was a member of the National Front, I held National Front-type views. How can I possibly go on after such a revelation?Seriously, there could be no better demonstration of the New Labour Party's absurdity than this. They write an allegation, send it to Wikipedia, then use their own allegation as "evidence" of the point which they were trying to make!David, one of the good things about the job which I have inherited is that it gives me the authority to right wrongs perpetrated against the people of this borough by your self-serving administration. One of the greatest wrongs was the way in which you quite callously generated fear amongst sections of your own support base - fear of something they had no cause to fear - in order to keep them on board and to keep them voting New Labour. This strategy, more than any other, places you and yours beneath contempt.I and my colleagues are determined to build a local community which is based on equality, trust and respect. My Community Safety portfolio gives me the means to take the lead on that, and it is a mission which I am pursuing with great enthusiasm. If you truly believe things that lying to your own supporters about the motives of others is going to keep them voting for your party then so be it. Your misplaced triumphalism seems to suggest that you do. Personally I have a higher opinion of my fellow human beings. You were rumbled in Isleworth, you were rumbled in Bedfont, you were rumbled in Hanworth Park - but keep an it Dave, it's a really clever strategy. Honest!
