The event at the Waterman's Art Centre seemed very well organised with much detail being taken care of.The Foyer was busy and atmospheric... with mince pie-eaters and mulled wine fans mingling before going into the Studio No1 when the young choir was in place, surrounded by brothers and sisters and parents in organised seating rows.Crammed in were a sprinkling of Councillors, Brentfordians, and sponsers. Some 200-250 I guess. A great turn out.Andrew had the whole audience in his hands, speaking confidently about current Brentfordian matters ..and thanking those who had helped get the evening up and running. Didn't Quilliams do well? The programme contained all the list of doners. The young choir, all girls I recall, kicked off with "Twinkle, twinkle little star" whilst the mums around could be seen mouthing the words with fixation on their little ones..up front. We all sang O Come all ye faithful", "good king Wenceslas" and "the holly and the Ivy". And somewhere amongst all that communal togetherness, I'm sure they sang "Silent Night".Silent Night? With the first jumbo at 4.30am there is little chance of that!
