Hallo MaryJust to explain, I live on the corner of Ealing Road and New Road, two of the roads on which the ground is located. On match days, parking places start to fill from about 90 minutes before kick off, and things are busy until about 30 minutes after the match is over. So, on a Saturday, it would be a mistake to arrive back with lots of shopping at 2.45 and expect to be able to park outside your house.Generally, though, one knows in advance whether there is a match and one plans accordingly. To counterbalance the slight inconvenience of having difficulties parking over about 4 and a half hours on about 25 days a year, I can say that you will be moving into a wonderful community of interesting people, the vast majority of whom positively enjoy living next to a football ground. After all, how many people can identify their houses as being near floodlights? The best test is to come along on a matchday and see how it feels. Feel free to drop me an email (click on my name) and, if I can, I'm happy to meet you and answer any questions you may have.
