Sarah, there is a Scottish link to Brentford in the 1st Earl of Brentford,http://www.thepeerage.com/p2166.htm"Lt.-Gen. You are quite right Duncan - it has been fascinating reading the research undertaken by Jim and the others.  They have really got their teeth into into the quest.  It is quite an honour to be made an a honorary member of clan Mactavish.  To have this bestowed in the middle of the thread and investigation adds to the interest.It would be interesting to see Jim in full tartan dress at the nest forum meet!  Maybe we should set about designing a Brentford tartan.  Does Brentford/Isleworth/Hounslow have a coat of arms?

This topic on the Chiswick Forum, 'any history interest out there.' has been fascinating. I have been following Jim and the history research team uncover mysteries about the MacTavish clan, Templars, Freemasons in Chiswick and skulduggery.I await a photo of Jim sporting a kilt.
