"Phone boot ATM" warning

Hi,please excuse my bad english. This is about the red phone boot-like ATM opposite Travel Lodge on the High Street. My old Barclays VISA expired so I got a new one. I live in Ferry Quays and wanted to test the new card in a safe place rather than ending up in embarassement in a shop if it didn't work. So I went out to try this ATM for the first time. Put in the card, entered the code etc. Unfortunately it only gave an error an no money.A few days later I used the card on the web, ordering flight tickets and a rent car (SixT) in Norway, both from companies with good reputation and the ones I always use when visiting my family in Norway.I also used the card at Somerfield in Brentford and Tesco close to where I work as normal.2 weeks after I got this new card it got blocked. I called up Barclays and was told that someone has attempted to fraud my card several times, therefore it had automatically been blocked (thank God). There was one attempt to charge for 'Christian Aid' - 800 Pounds and several attempts for PC software, the total around 1500 Pounds.I got a new card and everything was sorted. I couldn't figure out HOW anyone could have got hand of my card number, I only had the card for 2 weeks and I use my cards with great care. This is 5-6 weeks ago now, but while driving past this ATM this week my wife pointed out that I had been using that ATM with the card. I too remember it so clearly now.I can't be 100% sure, but still, I'll never use that ATM again. It's not even put there by a known bank is it?Just a warning to keep your eyes open.
