That was a good response on this thread. Hope you are all enjoying the festive season.I must admit that after Christmas Day I go into what I call FLOP MODE..and find that I drop things on the floor and don't bother to pick them up..and when my domestic turns up she has a shock..but I always warn her!!Wasn't it good to hear from all our Forum Friends in Australia..Neil, Victor, Joan and Bill.  That was good to hear from Bill after a wee break..he's a good picture man by the way.Greetings to those at the Inverness Lodge, those in Isleworth Town, those on the Council, and those on the Police Committee, those from Brentord Dock, and those from Brentford Town and up Ealing Road!  Not forgetting USA, Gerry and friends in Ealing..others not available..etc etc.Have I forgotten anyone? Thank you for your kind words Joan,We loved every minute of the research into your local past!...taking the pictures of your family homes and places of work. Remember the Windsor Farm.. that was a special moment.There are still a couple of trips in the pipeline to do.. the Southall Church etc..and hopefully they will be undertaken soon!Best wishes to you all in Adelaide.

To my good friend Jim Lawes, who ran around the streets of where I used to live taking many photographs. I never missed 'home' until Jim came into our lives. I wish I could have one more White Christmas at 'home'. I can never thank Jim enough.  Jim when you visit Adelaide our door is always open.  Take care mate.Many a tear has been shed. Victor, try Dan Murpheys. I think they have them in Melbourne. They also have Fullers ESB.Do you have First Choice, owned by Coles, They have Pride, ESB and Honey Dew. Just bought a really nice beer called Bitter & Twisted from there.
