So Brentford's Trimmers moved to Adelaide!!

Neil,I've been reading an article in the Brentford and Chiswick Local History magazine.. haven't noted which issue..and it mentions that Sarah Trimmer's (of the old school next to St George's church overlooking the Thames at brentford) great,great grandchildren and more.. went to Australia..and some are in Adelaide.. where Joan lives..where my cousin lives..and where Nigel's sister (I believe) lives.Small world. Do you know the story?

Thanks Mark,the 6th Brentford group was full of ealing road school old boys as i remember!Pretty sure Derek Trimmer went to St Pauls or St georges school,does anyone know if his family that ran the store were descendants of the Trimmers mentioned by Jim?

I do Bill I also went to 6th Brentford cubs with Ian Lark,David Winter,Raymond Arnett etc.The Trimmers shop was next door to the old V.G Store opposite the North Star pub.

I used to go to 6th Brentford cubs many moons ago with a boy called Derek/Derrick? Trimmer whos parents ran a shop on the estate somewhere,i wonder if he is/was one of the relatives,does anybody remember Trimmers shop back in early 70s?
