Thankyou for posting that Hugh! That took me back a bit (1956 to be precise), my eldest brother had just bought an "electric" record player and just the one record..Bad Penny Blues,so I got to know it quite intimately! I got my own back,I got Buddy Hollys' "Oh Boy",which I played endlessly. My reference to Humpf on this thread was really the program I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue,I think one of the funniest progams on radio or TV,and quite harmless too, always a bonus. I met Humpf a few years back (through work) and have to say he really is one of the nicest blokes you could meet...blimmin tall too!(and 86 years old to boot...the swine!) As you like traditional jazz I wonder if you used to frequent the Bricklayers Arms in the '70s,I think the resident band were Keith Smiths Climax Jazz Band on a wednesday night...'twas jolly good! Thanks Again Tony
