Unfortunatly no was unable to go due to familly comittments..But I will be down at the Hive soon as I get some time, the music nights are great and I enjoy a pint in the Griffin beforehand. I am busy creating a studio and rehersal space in Bedfont which will mean a place for bands to go without paying any high fees making it a place that they can learn the skills and network the added benifit is that we will be income genarating so that other community groups will be able to also use the halls at little or no cost, we are already providing PA systems to community groups and soon video support at very very reasonable rates we are BPI and AIM members and more often then not we spend more money on getting our bands heard than we make in revenue but with the help of other socail clubs we can all work together to provide revenue for each other we have the bands they have the space, we would like to be able to get places like the Feltham Assembly Halls being used again but as with the economics of everthing we need to be able to make a showcase of bands to work, at the moment just to cut it even of an event held there you looking at a ticket price of £7.00 we need to make it so its worthwile for the bands and for once they get something from it and not become a side line for the beer trade.
