HPCG Meetings
At the recent Police consultative meeting, the Keens, Alan and Ann have displayed their usual contempt for their constituents, by refusing to attend 1 or more meetings, which are only held bi-monthly at various venues across the borough; so that those who wish to question them about police or safety matters can do so. They did say however, that they would be happy to meet some of us at the House of Commons, how considerate of them!Instead, they will continue to meet with the Borough commander, to discuss these concerns, very admirable, but why not community representatives, councillors or indeed members of the public? Tony Arbour, who holds many positions both as a councillor in Richmond and the GLA regularly attends, and most important for us, that being a member of the MPA, he can bring his invaluable knowledge of it's set up, and can advise us on policing matters. This is a further snub to their constituents on top of their recent announcement, that they would refuse to cooperate with democratically elected councillors! Perhaps Alan Sheerins along with ex councillor Hughes can tell me why they (Ann & Alan) refuse to participate in policing matters in our borough.
