Enfield Road ex-Post Office

Does anyone know what is happening with the old Post Office at the junction of Avenue Road? There is a lightbulb burning constantly, stock on the shelves, and a slow decay...  It is in a great position, and could surely be turned into something more beneficial for the residents - a deli/cafe maybe?! At the very least it could be converted into a house/flats, just to improve the over all look - it's bringing the street down now....

No nobody knows, it is owned by an old lady in  "The Avenue" in Ealing but, with a leasehold by old Mr Singh who ran the post office and was not a nice man. So he is just leaving it to die, why else and what else?

What a shame. I used it when it was the PO - no, not a great shop, but it sold stamps, had passport application forms etc.... at least there's another not too far away on S Ealing Rd. It just seems such a waste of a building, especially as it's decaying so fast. Does Mr Singh live above it?

Good god no he is rolling in dough Mr S lives in a very expensive house and ownes/leases hundred of propeties and could not give a damn about the post office I have to say I am astounded that the council have not taken over the flat for people who need somewhere to live and made Mr S  sort the building out
