Thankyou Hounslow Transport

"A scheme that saw a fourfold increase in the number of children cycling to participating schools in the London Borough of Hounslow was one of two projects to receive prestigious awards for the council.The London Borough of Hounslow was judged most improved transport borough and won the prize in the cycle improvements category at the London Transport Awards."Thank you Hounslow for taking childrens health and green issues seriously.  And thank you for having the guts and determination to get a fourfold increase in cycling which must have been quite a difficult job.And thanks Chris Calvi-Freeman for a super surface on London Rd from Busch corner east.  It may have been slow coming but it's well worth it now.

"And thanks Chris Calvi-Freeman for a super surface on London Rd from Busch corner east.  It may have been slow coming but it's well worth it now."And thanks also for the stretch from Ealing Road to almost Kew Bridge.Let's hope it stays silky smooth and doesn't have to be dug up !And I hope the green and red bits don't spoil it either.(Just the  central Brentford section to fix now. How about getting rid of the tarmac ramp for the pedestrian crossing on the east side of the canal bridge and putting in a proper dropped kerb ? That would stop me having to swerve out into the road. )
