Charity Golf Tournament in aid of ‘The Mayors Appeal’

Hounslow Police are organising and taking part in a Charity Golf event at Wyke Green Golf Club, in Aid of the Mayor of Hounslow Charities, namely Alzheimer’s Society; Cancer Research UK and The Shooting Star Children’s Hospice. We are seeking support from 18 local businesses, by sponsoring a hole (Minimum £100). All Sponsors will have their company name displayed on the relevant golf hole. Following this event Chief Superintendent David Bilson (Hounslow Police Commander) and the Mayor of Hounslow Andy Morgan-Watts will be sending a letter, thanking the companies for their support of donations and confirming the total amount rose.  The event is non-profit making with all proceeds being given directly to the three worthwhile charities. Local press have confirmed they will be covering this event.If you can make a donation, cheques should be sent to me at the address below and made payable to: ‘The Mayors Charity’. Sgt Murphy,How has the appeal for donations gone as the date is very near did you sell all the holes, if you have did you ever consider selling holes for a living? It just goes to show with the right attitude you can sell anything to anybody.

A quick update on the Hounslow Police Charity Golf Event for the Mayor of Hounslow:We have kindly received Sponsorship for 15 of the 18 golf holes in aid of the Mayors Charity. One of which was a direct result from my previous posting on the CHISWICKW4.COM forum. It would be fantastic if I could get just three more. Andrew, thank you for your message. I guess I'll have to leave the typo. You'll be pleased to know I'm also involved in another golf charity match being played this coming August, where 100 golfers will be playing! We are hoping to raise over £5500 for Cancer Research UK, to add to the £8000 raised for them over the past 4 years. I am always amazed how generous people are for these events.
