10p Income Tax

Anyone know where Hounslow's MPs stand on Brown's abolition of the 10p tax rate?It does strike me that this could be the straw that "breaks the camel's back" for hundreds of thousands of disillusioned Labour supporters. The government is making the issue one of confidence in the government for its unhappy MPs - support us on this or the government could fall. My question to Labour MPs would be, if the government can treat the poorest in this cynical and cavalier fashion, why on earth would it be worth saving?

As it was Gordon Brown's idea and Ann Keen was Gordon Brown's PPS for many years, I suspect Ann Keen will support Gordon Brown's infamous abolition of the 10p tax rate.Her name has not been mentioned as one of the Labour RebelsAnd never will.I suggest you write to her and ask.You will get a reply reminding you to claim benefits and cash credits and child allowances.

"Anyone know where Hounslow's MPs stand on Brown's abolition of the 10p tax rate?"MickIf it was Brown's idea then I suspect you know full well where they would stand on it.  They were prepared to put their careers before the lives of hundreds of thousands of innocent people a few years back, do you really think they would break ranks over a tax rate?What I would be interested to know is where the local Party stands on this.  Is Dave Hughes looking in, perchance?
