Government to spy on phone calls,texts and e:mail

Is this a step to far. Call me a cynic but I thought Stalin was dead and the KGB disbanded. Seems they are all alive and living in White hall. No doubt they will roll out the terrorism card. Save everything on a database and then lose it and at the same time run around the world telling other people how to live and preaching human rights. So beware if you are not recyling or trying to get your kids into a school outside your catchment area big brother is watching and what next any suggestions.

Are we still allowed to demonstrate peacefully ? Not in Parliament square and not if this bunch of control freaks get their way. Ah but this is mother of democracy LOL.

I was disturbed to read in the Graudian about the 15-year old who is to appear in court for taking part in a peaceful demonstration in the City of London protesting about the Scientology cult.His "offence" was to have a placard with the word "cult" on it although an Old Bailey judge had ruled in the 80s that Scientology was a dangerous cult.http://tinyurl.com/56osstJL

Yes I've always been conscious I was going to have to stop referring to one of my old cars as 'my bomb' because it would pop up some terror alert somewhere and get me banned.Hang on - there goes this website...
