What does 'copied blind' mean and how do you do this in an e-mail?

I meant the recipient of the blind copy hitting "Reply All", thus betraying to all othe recipients that they had been blind copied into the original message.

"other recipients will not be able to see that you have sent a copy to that person.  Not until they hit the "Reply All" button, anyway!""Reply All" should send to the sender and all the other To and CC recipients, but NOT to the BCC recipients.  That's the way it works in Outlook Express, anyway, and I don't see how a recipient's computer could find out who the BCC recipients were.

Your e-mail client should include a field headed "Bcc", usually below the one headed "Cc" (with Outlook I believe you have to click "Cc" before you can see it).If you include a recipient in this field that person will receive a copy of the e-mail, but other recipients will not be able to see that you have sent a copy to that person.  Not until they hit the "Reply All" button, anyway!
