Hanwell locks

I fancy a walk from Ealing hospital this afternoon as have an appointment there and wish to go along the canal by Hanwell locks to Brentford.Does any one know if I can pick up the tow path by following the river that runs across the Uxbridge road next to the Hospital.Regards Barbara

The last time I tried that it was very over grown (it was a long time ago).You have two alternatives:-Turn left and then left again into Windmill Lane and then onto the towpath at The Three Bridges,or turn right and right again onto Lower Boston Rd.,then first right into Green Lane and onto the towpath at the bottom.Lovely walk whichever you choose.
