Be careful what you wish for..

....it may come true.Like it has done for the Iraqi interpreters who have been given housing on a rough estate in Glasgow.Sounds like their lives are hellish.Still, I suppose we have to consider that Brits have been living in these horrible places for a long time and 'if it's good enough for us' etc.What we should be realising is that it is not good enough for anyone to live like this.Estates like this come with their own built in problems that exacerbate lonliness and isolation and offer nothing but poverty of experience and opportunity to a sizeable number of residents.

Sounds like their lives are hellish."My advice to these interpreters would have been to hijack an aircraft in Iraq, threaten the passengers and crew, demand to fly to the UK, on arrival threaten to kill the hostages, and demand asylum here. Then they would have been given a house complete with  sky television (to keep them in touch with home you know!!!) Benefits will be arranged, and we may give you a job in security! Poor dears are suffering from PTSD (Post traumatic stress disorder) anyone know what happened to the passengers on this flight?
