Pub in Ferry Lane

Hi Everyone, i am new to this site and i have a question for you.Last Friday my wife and i went to find a pub in Ferry Lane that we used to go to about 30 years ago. It has now gone. Flats in its place, surprise surprise.Does anybody recall what it was called. It was at the bottom of Ferry lane on the right. It was a small pub That had a back room that used to have jazz bands on a Friday i think. It also used to be used by the local Police. Its not the Waterman's Arms at the top on the left. Second question, does anybody have a photograph of this pub for nostalgic reasons. Hope you can help.Thanks, Roger.

The details don't quite match up with anything I know Roger.The pub that used to be at the bottom of Ferry Lane was hardly a small one; surrendered its licence in 1922, and was demolished in 1983. It was known as the Ferry Hotel, but was licenced as 'the Bunch of Grapes'.Photos are in Gillian Clegg's 'Brentford and Chiswick Pubs', and that might give some clues as to the one you are thinking of.
