LOST CAT - Big fluffy brown tabby lost on 16th July

Please can you look out for our big fluffy brown tabby, Dexter in your garages and lock ups. He went missing from Brentford Dock on 16th July. Distinguishing features are his very big fluffy tail.  He has our phone number on a bronze tag on his black collar and he is microchipped.  You can contact us on 0208 847 0393 or 07860 200021. many thanksJulia

thanks Michael for letting me know.  i'll call the RSPCA but as you say, it doesnt sound like Dexter.  its good to know people are keeping an eye out.

I found a tabby cat in our alley (glenhurst rd/orchard rd)on saturday I called the rspca as the cat couldnt move It looked like it had a broken leg,and wouldnt eat or drink this cat was  tabby all over no brown markings ,and the tail wasnt fluffy.no tag

Sorry to hear your baby's gone on an expedition!  Ours went on one in January for over a week, but we found him.  One thing you didn't mention, and it's not a nice one, is phone the council rubbish department every day.  Everytime they find 'something' they have to report it.  They bring them back with them and they have to report where they found it.  The people are really nice on the phone and are used to the phone calls.  SOrry, I don't have the numbers anymore.Another thing we did was contact an animal physic (sp?)  We were very sceptical, but at the time were prepared to try anything!  A lady at Hounslow Animal Welfare gave us the number.  We called the lady (no charge for talking to her) and she described lots of things.  When we eventually found The Boy, what she described was almost exactly what she described!!  Weird, I know.Have you put posters up everywhere....shops, vets, pubs...most people are very helpful.Hope you find your baby...I'm sure you will.Big hugs,loveTracieanne xxx

Hi Vanessa.  Sadly we havent heard anything.  he is such a lovely cat and part of the family.  We all really miss him but still hope that someone will find him/he'll be returned to us.  We've told neighbours, vets and animal wardens but if you have any other ideas, please let us know.  Thanks for askingJulia
