Private School for Gunnersbury Park?

Interesting item in the Chronicle today about how the board of Gunnersbury Park have been holding secret discussions about selling off part of the park to a private school. The information only came to light when a resident made a freedom of information request.The park is a bit rough around the edges but remains a very beautiful oasis in this part of London and I don't think selling off bits of it is the answer.

I dont believe Hounslow Council do either after reading the article and the idea seems to come from Ealings representatives.
