Kew Bridge A315 Intersection Roadworks

Tonight at 23:00 coming from Richmond to Brentford by bus I noticed that there were large roadworks blocking off the A315 traffic westwards to Brentford.  The traffic queue was so heavy I walked across Kew Bridge.I noticed that the westbound 237 buses, full of passengers, were crossing Kew Bridge southwards towards Kew, Richmond.  Also empty 237 buses were crossing northwards.  There was no traffic and buses along the west lane of the A315.But at about 23:30 along the A315 westwards at Brentford traffic started running again with two 237 buses and a 267.Whaat is happening and what are the transport plans to deal with this roadworks at Kew Bridge north?

Yes, clarification has been sought.  It’s TfL's resurfacing works, undertaken overnight (9.30pm to 6am) to reduce disruption to traffic.  Should be finished by 23 September.

Last night the westwards buses were diverted to rejoin A315 at Macdonalds Ealing Rd.

TfL road works apparently, although information sent to the Borough doesn’t make this completely clear.  Possibility of a repeat tonight.
