St Lawrence Church War Memorial
On behalf of the Brentford High Street Steering Group I would like to thank everyone for the very kind donations to the Christmas Lights and St Lawrence Church War Memorial Fund. The evening was a great success and so far we have raised just over £3,000 which means Brentford will have festive lights this Christmas. We are now concentrating on the Memorial and are applying to some grant schemes for funding. With these contributions we can get the Memorial restored and moved to the Library as soon as possible. An exhibition is also planned to honour the men who lost their lives and research is already very much in progress. Anyone who has any information please do let us know.We will keep the forum updated with any news. Thanks again to everyone.
