Door to door fish in Brentford - same operation as Chiswick?

Are these the same guys who aroused suspicion in Chiswick? One smaller older guy and a beefy chap, both in white coats. They came to the door and I said I wasn't interested, but when I took the dogs out a few minutes later, I saw them following someone into an automatic gate (the gated houses across from the Griffin) before it locked. They had all the comic mannerisms of people up to no good (looking around shiftily, pacing themselves so they could slip in behind him). On my way back I saw one of them puffing on a fag in an unmarked white transit van (which, to be fair, did smell strongly of fish).Scam or genuine?

They've just been round to me (a couple of hours ago) and I live round the corner from you. Van is white without logo. So unless there are two similar in operation today we're talking about the same people.

Hi Kathleen.I thought the Geordie guys had a fish van (ie with a sign on it with the name of the business). I wonder if these are different people. I didn't detect an accent, but admittedly he only said a couple of words, so maybe I missed it.

They're a genuine pair with a strong Geordie accent who supply very good fish. They visit their regulars and try the occasional new house. I've been using them for several years.
