Boarded up Houses on Lampton Rd

Does anyone know what happening to the long row of Flats in Lampton Rd on the Left Side before you get to The Tube Station?they have been boarded for sometime, has/is the coucil going to buy them and put them back into their Housing Stock?

Simon, my understanding is that part of the redevelopment will be a hotel and part will be social housing. The applicants are working with a housing association on the proposals.

If you are talking about what was the Grenada Hotel some years ago and then a B&B, I'm pretty sure there's going to be a planning application for a new hotel there. I think there was something in one of the local papers a few weeks ago, this wouldn't be the first time though  - this particular issue has been kicking around for a great many years.
