The following article appeared on the Brentford FC Official Website yesterday - great news for student football fans!Brentford’s Acting CEO, David Heath has today announced that with immediate effect Students will be able to gain access through a specially designated turnstile on match days at the concessionary price of £12 (current usual adult price is £18). Up until now Students have had to purchase their tickets in advance which has been subject to limited availability. The Students will gain entrance to the Ealing Road Terrace only via the designated turnstile (number 5) in Braemar Road, which will be shared with Senior Citizens who pay an identical price. Entrance is however on the very strict proviso that a valid Student card must be shown. David Heath commented: “Brentford is a great place to watch football. We are probably the friendliest club in professional football and we’re proud of our current ticket prices which we think represent fantastic value for money. We continue to work hard on encouraging “Fans of the Future”; we introduced the very popular Family Ticket earlier the season which can be bought in advance for just £20 and enables up to two adults and three children, seats in our Family Stand” to watch a game of professional football, and now we are pleased to offer this new facility to all Students.”
