Church Centre on Beech Avenue

It is very sad to know that we are doing our best to revive this Centre to its best glory and uplift the spirits of mankind,yet some some try to damage the fence,throw unwanted stuff into the compound to show their disapproval.This is a global venture,multicultual venture, it will be developed to its highest standards with the help of local as well as international charity, and one day the area will be the best to live in. Please give your opinions if you have concerns which we shall try to rectify to our best level. For one thing is sure, we are not moving anywhere until we have united all.Yasdra

Thanks a lot to see my point. I am pleased to know we are not upsetting anyone,just a few who hopefully will soon come onto the right track with the help of community effort which parents probably could not do for whatever circumstances.

That's sad Yashdra.These'youngsters'are acting like scum.I don't know why they can't just live and let live.never thought I'd think like this but a couple of years of national service from age 16/17 would do them good and us all a favour.They obviously have no respect or discipline that means anything in their lives.Maybe their mums and dads have concentrated on being their'friends' rather than their parents who are supposed to set an example,give boundaries and give praise and punishment when appropriate.I hope you problems end soon and that you all can have a peaceful and happy place of worship.

The police are aware because they have the CCTV tape. We had to cancel the Christmas Day 25 Dec.09 program and lights decoration due to threatening behaviour from a group of youngsters, juggling empty bottles and cans at the windows while prayers were going on.People are contributing as best they can towards the security and lighting for the safety.

No offence taken.It is not you who should be apologising really but the people who litter,leave supermarket trolleys on the road and who do the mindless,semi-literate graffiti that is such an eyesore.It's like an animal marking its territory,except an animal does not know any better.Ask the police for some help......!

My sincere apology if I have offended anyone. My email started to just express that after trying to repair the boundary of the centre it is being vandalised all the time. Then I only expressed the purpose of the Centre so that no one feels being imposed upon. Indeed, Faith & Love is the greatest.I still ask for peace and friendship.

I interact with others all the time,thanks very much.But I do it on my own terms,and with whom I choose.You are,as I am, allowed your own ways of belief or worship.To attempt to belittle anothers'or impose one's own is rude and uneccessary.Faith,hope and love.But the greatest is Love.

I could study at home with all the free books awailable from the library and material from the internet, yet it is important to go to school and university! where I can interact.

Yashdra,the Syon Estate isn't such a bad place in relation to other estates and I agree with you(who in their right mind wouldn't?)that there is too much disrespect for the properties of others in terms of dumped rubbish and graffiti and that there are small signs of a general malaise and a couldn't give a s**t attitude from a small,anti-social element who have no regard for others(or themselves really)nor have they any real imagination to express any feelings beyond mindless vandalism.They are to be pitied,really.'Man hands on misery to man'I believe the poem goes.One of my bug-bears about local policing is that you see the cpo's on the odd occassion doing a patrol during the day when usually nothing of any importance occurs.Why can't there be patrols at night from them and from real bobbies?Answers on a postcard please...Good luck in your venture .You are in my prayers,which I make in my own house.

I was looking for a place to pray,saw this Church was the most ideal central place so acquired it. If no one wishes to join us whatever our faith,be it,and leave us alone to carry on the peaceful acitivity on our own,but we'll surely include you all in our prayers to help us come out of the tough times.

Yasdra,I'm surprised you're surprised about events.I assume,possibly wrongly, that your organisation is Hindu in nature.Well,there are not many Hindus on the Syon Estate,nor probably many church goers,although again, I could be wrong.'Not moving anywhere until we have united all'...Good luck,I think you are going to need huge amounts of it!

'We lot' are the volunteers,the devotees at the Centre,praying regularly to ask for strength & energy to overcome this tough year 2009. All are invited to join us chant for peace and tranquility globally. The next 12 months are scary,we have seen nothing yet.Please join us to rectify the situation with positive energy and peace.

The centre was indeed fine but would have become a haunted run down place had it not been put into use. We lot will uplift the area and you will be pleased indeed with the change.Instead of throwing empty bottles you shall indeed throw flowers of blessings, I am firm.

You say revive yet nothing has been done to this old centre! You should have seen if anyone in the area was actually interested in what you are trying to do.Nobody on this estate really cares what you are about. The centre was fine before you lot turned up. As for everyone united, Be serious mate!!!
