I rang yesterday which were recorded as complaint numbers 408659 and 408660. One 'complaint' was asking for somebody to call me about the day after, street cleaning service.I must say that I think the green garden recycling bags are great. When the first 'white bags' were available to buy they were wide sacks which I placed inside a garden tub to reinforce the bag, and then filled from above. Due to 'bright spark' economising on plastic, they were later designed with a smaller mouth which would not go around my tub and were much harder to fill without dropping bits all over the ground. These green sacks, stand upright (after they have been used the first time) and can be filled from the top so you can just drop cuttings into them - simple! and rainwater drains through the weave.Yesterday a neighbour put out a couple of green plastic bags full of cuttings alongside the green bags. Without being at all jobsworth, they took the plastic bags and emptied them out as if they were the 'regulation' sacks. Great! :-)
