Broken into car in Brook Lane North caught on camera?

There is a white fiesta car in Brook Lane North which was broken into over Wednesday night, which is parked opposite the newly installed camera's.  I'm wondering if any suspects(s) have been caught due to the camera footage.Thanks,Fran

The Community Police were not aware themselves that the camera 'had gone' so heaven knows what happened to it.Fran

Has anyone noticed that the camera has now been removed from Brook lane North and replaced with a sign ?? telling you not to leave valuables on display in your car.. So the camera didn't last long then.

Another pointer... Whoever is targeting cars in Brook Lane North I feel might be VERY VERY local, as a member of our staff ALWAYS parks his car in that very spot for the last 8 months and the ONE night his car was not there this got done to someone elses?Rather strange??????????

Hi Matt,Thanks for your reply.  No, it is not my car.  I saw it hence why I am asking if the break in of the car will be on the installed cameras. I might be wrong, but yet again it was an older car and I am thinking that the burnt out cars in Brook Lane North have been older models.  Maybe they smashed the drivers window then noticed the camera?  I spoke to the owner of the vehicle this afternoon who said to me he could not understand his car window being smashed as nothing was taken from his car. Total intent of buring out a car maybe?

Fran, I've emailed the Sargeant of our Safer Neighbourhood Team to ask the question. Was it your car, and was the crime reported to Police? It's important that crimes like this are reported in order that the police can allocate resources (including cameras) accordingly.Matt HarmerBrentford ward councillor
