Did ICG member john hardy support the Mogdon Stink

Is it true that John Hardy of the ICG support the SDC committee and vote for the mogden works to go ahead as it seems that there is a double standards from the ICG over what really is the issue or is it just carry on bandwagoning a cause still.

This weeks  Isleworth VILLAGE NEWS sums it up perfectly.  SHAME on Hounslow Council! Only ICG Cllr Jon Hardy voted against the application which was formally moved for approval by Labour's Cllr Cooper and Cllr Cadbury who live nowhere near the site. The incredible stab in the back for local residents came when Cllrs Brad Fisher and Lilly Bath, who had minutes before complained energetically about the stench and mosquitoes their constituents endure, scurried behind the Cooper/Cadbury team and voted approval. One can fully understand that Cllrs are wanting to call it a day and are obviously not seeking re-election but why not do it gracefully? Why turn their backs on the people who elected them in the first place?

No, he was on the Isleworth & Brentford Area Committee run.  Notwithstanding all that he returned to chair the meeting ssuperbly.  I will pass on to him your best regards.

That's fair you have answered the question, I was under the impresion that he had voted for after a change of mind, as you imply this can be verified, as you know many cllrs hide behind the fact the votes are not recorded but since the review Sdc votes and planing comittee votes are recorded just in case of legal action so it should not be to hard to find out what did go on.

DaveJon is currently trying to escape from Calais, but while he is doing so let me do what I can to stop you from digging yourself in deeper and looking an even bigger fool than you have made yourself look already.Jon Hardy voted against the proposal to expand Mogden (which you could have seen for yourself had you bothered to read through the threads on this forum, or watched the webcast).  He was the only member of SDC to do so, although to be fair to Councillor Andrew Dakers he has since expressed some concerns about the information which was provided to members and upon which they were required to act, and has made it clear that he is interested in doing something to address the Mogden problem.Sadly everybody else on the Sustainable Development Committee, since that fateful meeting, has either kept schtum or has limply endeavoured to justify their completely unjustifiable actions.

Is John barred by the ICG to respond? Did john put forward the concerns of the community which is legal to do so if you are trying to get to the nub of an issue in order to have the full picture in Order to make an informed decision.So come on john at least let the public understand so they can be fully informed.

dear alan not at all, just confused at the mix messages from the ICG, woulld it not be unreasonable to ask why John felt he had to support approval and have an honest debate, to blame officers is a cop out, to try and blame the last admistration is laughable.

Isn't this old news Dave ?.  I take it from your post that you are advocating that every member of a particular party should always vote the same way in order to toe the party line and never dare to 'break rank' ?.
