Beware Brentfordians.., big drips on the way!  Heavy rainfall!

I;m surprised to find Tim that the prayer quoted has a perpetual copyright which a Wiki source tells me:"The UK Copyright Act 1775 established a type of perpetual copyright under which the Authorized or King James Version of the Bible was allowed to be printed only by the Royal printer and by the printers of the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. This provision was abolished by the Copyright, Designs and patents Act 1988, but under transitional arrangements (Schedule I, section 13(1)) these printing rights do not fully expire until 2039" and this also applied to the prayer quoted. So don't print it off folks or it's up before the beak!

Hard to spot the colour of the rain at 2am. There's more coming this weekend apparently. It never rains but it pours!

From the 1662 Book of Common Prayer -I don't think it was in the earlier Cranmer versions.According to Meteox the rain did come 0200 - 0400 CET but only "dark blue" rain and no really heavy "red" rain. The road gutters were well swilled down this morning.

I'm not so sure if we will get much.My favourite rainfall site athttp://www.meteox.com/h.aspx?r=holiday&jaar=-3&soort=loop24uur&URLseems to show it all going to Belgium and the Netherlands.(Send the boat round to get me if I'm wrong.)

Says everything about namby pamby life these days - a little bit of heavy rain is sufficient to generate such excessive warnings, I'm surprised it doesn't advise people to 'carry an umbrella' !.
