Notoe there are two Snelling entries and two Lukers - a case of relatives living just around the cornerGoddards v Brunel - but is that a Brunel railway arch, it doesn't have the grace of one?Gas masks came in a khaki heavy duty bag which by chance was also the exact size of a tin sandwich box, thus together making a handy way of carrying the sandwiches around. Did you keep your gas mask case for this purpose? Did this practice only start after the War, as I imagine cheap tin sandwich boxes were not available during the War itself? Were all gas masks handed in?
